Limitation on Certain Rights
Although HD Info takes steps to validate your identity when receiving your request, we are unable to fully protect your sensitive Personal Data from the risks of identity theft or fraud due to the wide availability of basic identifying information on the internet. In accordance with CCPA Regulations Section 999.313(c)(1), and in order to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized use or access, where we do not have a direct relationship with you HD Info will not honor any requests for specific pieces of Personal Data. All requests for specific pieces of Personal Data will be evaluated as requests for disclosure of categories of Personal Data. Taking this stance helps us better protect your Personal Data from the risk of identity theft and fraud.
In accordance with the exceptions enumerated in CCPA Section 1798.105(d)(2) and (d)(8), HD Info will not honor any requests for deletion of Personal Data. The Personal Data we collect directly from you is used (i) to comply with legal and statutory obligations; and (ii) for risk management activities that include detection of security incidents and protection against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
